Rabi Al Thani

This month, also known as Rabi ul Akhir is the fourth month of the Islamic calendar. The literal meaning of this month means "the second spring". This is perhaps one of the most benefiting months for those who cannot afford food and clothes. Muslim from all over the world perform the acts of generosity through giving Sadqah and doing Fateha/Niyaz in the names of Prophets and Aulia of Allah. In this month the urs of Peeran-e-Peer, Ghauth-e-Pak Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani takes place. This is one of the main reason as to why Muslims give charities and celebrate the personality of Ghauthe Azam.

Salat al Asrar

Also known as Salatul Ghausia, it is specially performed in the month of Rabi al thani, although it is believed that it can be performed in any month. It is proven that if one needs and requires any help and solution for his/her problems then they should perform this Salah. Hazrat Mulla Ali Qari, Hazrat Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehalvi and Hazrat Abdul Hasan Nuruddin have reported from Ghauth e Pak regarding the method of this Salah

1) Complete the fard and sunnat salah of Maghrib

2) After completion perform 2 rakah

3) In each rakah read Surah al Fatiha and then Surah al Ikhlas for 11 times

4) After reciting Surah al Ikhlaas recite, then recite 11 times the dua mentioned below:

YA Rasoola Allah hi YA NAbi Allah hi Aghisni wa Amdidni Fi Qadi ai Hajati Ya Qadi al Hajaat

After reading this dua, take 11 steps towards Iraq and on each step recite this dua:

Ya Ghaus Saqalaini Ya Kareem-at-Tarfaini Aghisni was amdidni fi Qada-e-Hajati Ya Qaadi al Hajaat

After this ask Allah by making the waseela of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and INshallah all your needs will be fulfilled. Remember Ghauth Pak said:

 

If a person in distress or hardships calls out to me, his hardships will be eradicated.

If a person uses my name as a Wasila ( Medium ) when he pleads to Allah Almighty,

his need will be fulfilled

Events in this month

1) Battle of Furu took place from Bahran in 3 AH.

2) Battle of Sariyya took place, in which the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were honoured to lead it, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not participate. It is reported that Ali ibn Talib (MAy Allah be pleased with him) was consigned for Sariyya with Ibn Alqama Mujazziz Mujdalee

Nawafil in the month of Rabi al thani

on the first of Rabi al Thani perform after Maghrib Salah, perform 8 rakah nawafil in sets of Two Rakah each. After Surah al Fatiha read Surah Ikhlas 3 times in the first rakah and Surah al Kafiroon in the second rakah or Surah al Ikhlas 3 times in all rakah. It is believed that the rewards for his are enormous.

on the 1st, 15th and 29th night of Rabi al thani read 4 rakah nafil with reciting 5 times Surah al-Ihklaas in each rakah after Surah reciting Surah al-fatiha. It is believed that by doing this Allah (subhana was ta'ala) will forgive your 1000 sins and reward you with 1000 blessings. Inshallah.
